Shrugging Toward the Future...

I think its appropriate to start blogging here about becoming a "ghost" in society.

What's clear is that more than half of society is now on the dole for whatever reason - race, laziness, stupidity, too many government handouts (entitlements, etc.), illegally here, you name it.  Its also clear that there is far to much perversion (this story about girls on a swim team being exposed to a fully intact "male" that thinks he/she/it is a woman is perhaps the best example I can find).

Now how can a society have a fair vote in an election more than half the people rely on the government or want the government to validate their perversion?

Aren't they simply "voting their own interest?"

Of course.

How can anyone responsible deal with this situation, i.e., if you are working for a living you are now supporting the ever expanding dole as well as the perversion?  A dole that is expanding beyond your (and society's) means to support.

Society is simply evil: lazy, full of perversion, legalizing drugs, exposing children to abuse.
We can, of course, try to "stop this evil" - but it won't work.

This 10,000 ton juggernaut is now rolling down the hill.

And it won't stop because of the "inertia of greed."

Greed is a very basic human emotion and it underlies all of these societal problems.

Greed is also a biological issue - an organisms will continue to consume resources until there no resources left.

A long time ago I had a biology teacher that demonstrated this.  You scoop up pond mud into jar, seal it from the outside atmosphere, and put it out on a shelf under a window.  Over time the contents of the jar change color, grey, red, green, back to grey, and so on.

This is because the organisms in the jar are consuming resources until there are no more resources to consume.  When they run out of resources they die.  And when the resources run out the current dominant organisms die off and new organisms, perhaps a type which consumes dead organisms of the first type, take over until they die off.  And so on, and so on, and so on forever.

But not all the organisms die off each cycle - not completely.  When opportunity arises in the future the few survivors of last cycle of that organism will once again rise to dominate.

This change is happening in our society today.

The old organism (hard working, proud Americans) is being overtaken by the current "resource consumers" and the "perverts."  The illegal aliens, the gays, the hand out kings and queens.

The color of the jar is changing from red to blue.

Now, because we cannot stop this the only other thing we can do is "survive" to the next cycle.

This is what John Gault is all about.

Turning into a "ghost" - you disappear from the "view" of the existing society.

You "drop out" of society - this means you do less, interact with society less, and by consequence pay fewer taxes, consume less, purchase less, and so on.

Now to do this you have to have reached a point in your life were the current "societal model" is not important to you any more.  This usually means you are old.  Young people have a much harder man time separating themselves from society because they children, high-profile jobs, and so forth.

As the author of this blog I am already far along in this process.

The purpose of this blog is to document my journey...
